The Act of God's Righteousness in Building a Nation
Righteousness is the foundation of God's character and actions. It's the backbone of building a nation. As leaders, we must understand that we can't be on the same level as our followers; wisdom must differentiate us.
After salvation, water baptism is essential (Matthew 13:13). The Israelites experienced this when they left Egypt. Baptism publicly identifies our faith, sanctifies us, and cleanses us to replicate God's love (Ephesians 5:26).
Power comes from a righteous lifestyle. Moses' story teaches us to follow God's order. Righteousness is a product of two things: God's nature and our actions.
Jesus used parables to convey spiritual truths, encoded for those with understanding (Matthew 13:13). The mysteries of God are hidden, requiring discernment to decode.
Righteousness is God's character, encoded in action (1 Timothy 3:16, 2 Corinthians 5:21). The blood of Jesus reveals God's righteousness in humanity, changing our DNA.
There are two types of righteousness:
1. Imputed righteousness (forgiveness of past sins)
2. Action righteousness (living righteously)
God's integrity ensures He keeps His promises. When faced with hardship, His righteousness guarantees His presence.
Repentance is crucial, involving:
1. Confession
2. Forgiveness
3. Forsaking
Righteousness guarantees answered prayers (James 5:16).
To sustain righteousness:
1. Repentance
2. Salvation
3. Sanctification
4. Faith in Christ
To sustain consciousness in God:
1. Develop consistent fellowship (Hebrews 10:25-26)
2. Worship in His presence
3. Bond with Spirit-filled individuals
4. Listen to God's word
5. Meditate and confess scripture
6. Pray in the Holy Spirit
Develop intimacy with God through prayer.
Confess:
"I receive understanding of Your word. My righteousness will build my home and nation."
May God's righteousness guide us in building a nation.
