*This Is My Story, You Are My Song


Are you burdened by the state of your life and our nation? The root of our problems is sin, and it's rampant in our world. This is a spiritual battle between Satan and God.


*The Battle*


Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." It's time for God's people to put on their spiritual armor (Ephesians 6:10-18) and take a stand.


*The Battle Plan*


2 Chronicles 7:14 provides the battle plan to restore and heal our land:


"If my people, who are called by my name, humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land."


*Our Part*


1. *Humble Ourselves*: Recognize our arrogance and pride (1 Samuel 2:3, James 4:6). See ourselves as God sees us (Ecclesiastes 7:20, Romans 3:23).

2. *Pray*: Prayer makes a difference (Jeremiah 29:7, 1 Timothy 2:1-2). Pray without ceasing for revival.

3. *Seek God's Face*: Pursue His presence (Psalm 105:4, James 4:8).

4. *Turn from Wicked Ways*: Acknowledge our sinfulness (Isaiah 64:6). Turn from sin and live God's way.


*God's Part*


When we follow His conditions:


1. *He will Hear Us*: Prayer of repentance guarantees God's hearing (Luke 18:13-14).

2. *He will Forgive Our Sin*: True repentance requires change (2 Chronicles 7:14).

3. *He will Heal Our Land*: Our nation will be blessed (Psalm 33:12, 144:15).


Let's suit up, dear Christians, and engage in this spiritual battle.

CONNECTING TO THE LIFTER OF HEADS

In Psalm 3:1-3 and 1 Samuel 2:7, we're reminded that God is the lifter of heads. He has a history of elevating individuals from humble beginnings to positions of power and influence. Let's look at a few examples: - Joseph became the prime minister - Abraham became the father of nations - Aaron became a priest - Esther became a queen - David, a shepherd boy, became a king - Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego became relevant Only God can lift someone from the dungeon to a place of prominence. Divine lifting means receiving favor from both God and men (Proverbs 3:4). It's about moving from debt to prosperity (2 Samuel) and from the tail to the head (Deuteronomy 28:14). The power of choice is a fundamental gift from God, woven into the fabric of human existence. From the beginning, God granted humanity the freedom to choose, as seen in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve (Genesis 2:16-17). This ability to choose is what distinguishes humans from other creatures, allowing us to reflect God’s image (Genesis 1:27). Biblically, our choices carry profound consequences. Deuteronomy 30:19 emphasizes this when God sets before Israel “life and death, blessings and curses,” urging them to choose life. This highlights that while God offers guidance, the decision rests with us.
