A NEW CREATION


— 2 Cor 5:17 in our journey as new creation, we should understand that the word “new creation” came to be as a result of what happened in the garden of Eden. The creation; Adam, then, lost his place with God and died. So Jesus had to come in the New Testament to birth a new life. John 3:16 Jesus had to die for the new creation to be formed.

3 things constitute a New Creation: Death, Birth, and Resurrection of Jesus.

For man to be born again, he has to believe in the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus. He has to do away with his old ways; the sinful nature and not fulfill the desires of the flesh as found in Galatians 5:16-21. For the old life are written as the works of flesh. So the new life cannot be manifested if the flesh is still active.

New life is created by God in us. Not inherited from our parents. John 1:13. Our continuous walk with Him makes the perfection of the new life to be manifested. We will do away with everything about our old life, when we come into the new life. The old life is gradually sieved off.

Adam began to begat man in his likeness. But when Christ came, he brought back all that we have lost in the garden. He brought a change to the order. When one becomes a new creation, he hates sin and put off the old man. Then, put on the new life. Ephesians 4:24.

A new creation cannot be formed by any man or by any theological institution. A new creation is no longer a slave to sin. There's a difference between continue to sin and continue to live in sin. Understand that our existence is for Christ and we must live to please him. As a new creation, Rom 6:6-7, 10-11 you are dead to sin and now alive in Christ Jesus. Gal 2:20

 Prayer

1. Whatever that has taken away the new life in me, restore unto me by mercy.

2. Take away pride, anger and every work of flesh.

3. Every habit that is not speaking Christ to people around me, take it away Lord

4. Uproot every seed of Adam in my life in Jesus name.

CONNECTING TO THE LIFTER OF HEADS

In Psalm 3:1-3 and 1 Samuel 2:7, we're reminded that God is the lifter of heads. He has a history of elevating individuals from humble beginnings to positions of power and influence. Let's look at a few examples: - Joseph became the prime minister - Abraham became the father of nations - Aaron became a priest - Esther became a queen - David, a shepherd boy, became a king - Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego became relevant Only God can lift someone from the dungeon to a place of prominence. Divine lifting means receiving favor from both God and men (Proverbs 3:4). It's about moving from debt to prosperity (2 Samuel) and from the tail to the head (Deuteronomy 28:14). The Power of Choice: A Deciding Tool in Destiny

The power of choice is a fundamental gift from God, woven into the fabric of human existence. From the beginning, God granted humanity the freedom to choose, as seen in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve (Genesis 2:16-17). This ability to choose is what distinguishes humans from other creatures, allowing us to reflect God’s image (Genesis 1:27). Biblically, our choices carry profound consequences. Deuteronomy 30:19 emphasizes this when God sets before Israel “life and death, blessings and curses,” urging them to choose life. This highlights that while God offers guidance, the decision rests with us.
