A NEW CREATION — THE POTTER'S ACTS

Jeremiah 18:1-6, 2 Corinthians 5:17

Jeremiah was taken to the potter's house to learn some lessons. On arrival, the first vessel made was marred. So the potter remade it. God then asked him if He couldn't do the same with his life.

God wants to make us than we would like to be made. He intends to make us to His will. Some of us are too stiff and rigid to be worked on. And Until we allow the potter, God to make us, we can't become a new creation. All He's saying in that scripture is, can you allow me to make you just as the potter does? God is ready to make you only when you're ready to submit to Him.

There might have been many damages, brokenness and wounds, but you can only be amended when you have an encounter with Jesus, your maker. If Jesus did not make you, old things will still be there. Every man is a wicked soul except one who has met Jesus. Every man's brain is greedy, jealous, envy and selfish, only the Lord Jesus redefined man.

Until you come in contact with Jesus, you can't have the new birth. The devil came to steal, kill and destroy the soul of a man. But Jesus came to love and give eternal life.

What happens when we become new?

* God will change the government in charge of a man when he comes to Christ. He will be your shepherd. Psalms 23 And flesh has no control of your life again. Old things are passed away.

* He will give you power. Luke 10:19 to conquer darkness. Power to live in good health. 3 John 1:2. The Adamic nature is to fall sick, but recreation brings health.

* Power to live a fruitful, successful and in dominion Gen 1:28

Note: This finds expression only in someone who is new in Christ.

* You will become a terror to the kingdom of darkness. Isaiah 61:1-2 

* Baptism of the Holy ghost

* You will become joint heirs with Jesus.

* You will have a new mind Jeremiah 17:1,9. 

* Your mind will be renewed. Roman 12:1-2 Ephesians 5:2

Psalms 51

* You have a new hope of eternal kingdom. Colossians 1:24,27 

Joel 2:25 Mark 10:52-56, 2 Sam 6:17, John 5:1-9 

He gives hope to a hopeless situation. Roman 4:17. Just as in the case of Dead Lazarus, lame man, Blind Man. Etc

Prayers: 

Oh God, whatever that is standing as a hindrance in my life, let your fire consume as a new creature.

CONNECTING TO THE LIFTER OF HEADS

In Psalm 3:1-3 and 1 Samuel 2:7, we're reminded that God is the lifter of heads. He has a history of elevating individuals from humble beginnings to positions of power and influence. Let's look at a few examples: - Joseph became the prime minister - Abraham became the father of nations - Aaron became a priest - Esther became a queen - David, a shepherd boy, became a king - Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego became relevant Only God can lift someone from the dungeon to a place of prominence. Divine lifting means receiving favor from both God and men (Proverbs 3:4). It's about moving from debt to prosperity (2 Samuel) and from the tail to the head (Deuteronomy 28:14). When we seek the kingdom of God, we're automatically connected to the lifter of heads, and He will lift us up (1 Samuel 2:7). The Power of Choice: A Deciding Tool in Destiny

The power of choice is a fundamental gift from God, woven into the fabric of human existence. From the beginning, God granted humanity the freedom to choose, as seen in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve (Genesis 2:16-17). This ability to choose is what distinguishes humans from other creatures, allowing us to reflect God’s image (Genesis 1:27). Biblically, our choices carry profound consequences. Deuteronomy 30:19 emphasizes this when God sets before Israel “life and death, blessings and curses,” urging them to choose life.
